NEW! Intensive Training Options with Sifu Alex Richter

Whether you are a member of a CWTAA school or a Wing Tsun enthusiast, you have some fantastic options available for intensive training directly with Sifu Alex Richter. Please note, if you are interested in training at the City Wing Tsun HQ for a few classes, please click here. The options below are aimed at instructors or advanced students of Wing Tsun who want to do serious training with Sifu Alex Richter.

IMMERSION COURSE IN NYC

If you are a Wing Tsun instructor or student who has completed the first Chi Sau program (“section 1”) you are eligible to apply for an Immersion Course with Sifu Alex Richter. This option is for visiting students/instructors who seek personalized immersion training with Sifu Alex Richter. If you plan on visiting and wish to do a few private lessons, please click here. Immersion Courses are a minimum of 20 lessons done over the course of ten days and include access to group classes at the City Wing Tsun HQ.


Details:

  • 20-lesson course* will be designed on your specific needs 

  • Daily training includes two 45-minute lessons done consecutively**

  • Regularly scheduled group classes are included in the course***

  • Course certificates are available for those who complete an entire training block.

Please note: a course certificate is not an instructor certificate. The CWTAA does not issue instructor or rank certificates to those outside of our Partner School students.
* Courses begin with a minimum of 20 lessons, however more lessons are possible depending on scheduling and availability. Due to Sifu Alex’s busy NYC schedule he cannot commit to more than two lessons per day – therefore additional lessons will require more days of visit.
** Both lessons will be done consecutively for 1.5 hours of private instruction a day. Sifu Alex’s courses are individualized so the 1.5 hours of time will be catered for your individual needs whether it is Chi Sau, technical, forms, sparring, or instructor training. No fluff or waste!

IMMERSION COURSE IN FLORIDA

(Now Enrolling)

If you are a Wing Tsun instructor or student who has completed the first Chi Sau program (“section 1”) you are eligible to apply for an Immersion Course with Sifu Alex Richter in Orlando, Florida. This option is for visiting students/instructors who seek personalized immersion training with Sifu Alex Richter and prefer to go to Florida instead of NYC. Please note that there is no Florida branch of City Wing Tsun, so this course will only include private instruction with no group class option.


Details:

  • 20-lesson course* will be designed on your specific needs 

  • Daily training includes four 45-minute lessons with Si-Fu Alex Richter**

  • The training will take place at Sifu Alex’s Florida home which has facilities for training private and semi-private small groups

  • You have the option to stay in Sifu Alex’s home (additional fee)

  • If you plan on doing sightseeing, you will need to rent a car in Florida

  • Training location is close to major attractions – Disney World Orlando, Universal Studios Orlando, Express Factory Outlet, water parks, world-famous golf courses and so much more!

  • Course certificates are available for those who complete an entire training block.

Winter ITC – January 6-8th, 2023

We are currently accepting application for the Winter Intensive Training Camp Weekend! Attendance in our Winter & Summer ITC is highly coveted and spots are limited. To be considered, please apply on the form below!

Cost:

  • CWTAA Students: $349 (2-Day), $399 (3-Day)

  • Non-CWTAA Students: $499

Summer ITC (Full Week) – Next Date June 19-25th, 2023

Every year, Sifu Alex Richter teaches a week-long intensive training course in the summer. This “full version” of the ITC focuses on all aspects of the Wing Tsun program such as form, sparring, Chi Sau, and exam prep. The Summer ITC has a minimum requirement of Student Level 4 or training in the Wing Tsun (WT) Chum Kiu and a completion of the 15 Chi Sau Fundamentals. Students outside of the CWTAA are allowed, but there are a limited number of spaces with priority to CWTAA students.

Details:

  • Six hours per day split in two 3-hour sessions

  • Each day blends technical instruction with intensive practice (not just “talking” Wing Tsun!)

  • 5 days of training for Wing Tsun students – 2 additional days for instructors
